Terms and Conditions
Bookings & Cancellations
All British Horse Society South West events are checked for viability around ten working days before each event date. Any that have insufficient numbers may be cancelled. In this case, delegates who have booked will receive a full refund.
If the event is cancelled, each delegate will be phoned or a sent a text/email, advising them of the cancellation and offered a full refund.
It is important that each attendee ensures that we have their correct contact details. This must include a telephone number with an answering service. If messages are left for attendees regarding an event cancellation, or if we are unable to leave a message and an attendee arrives at a venue for an event that has been cancelled, any expenses incurred by them are their own responsibility.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, a decision regarding cancellation will be made the day before the event is due to run. If the event is cancelled, each candidate will be notified by phone.
Booking fees are non-refundable if the attendee cancels in less than ten working days from the event date, without a medical certificate. If a medical certificate is provided, it must be received at our office within five working days of the course date. All cancellations and refund requests need to be in writing.
Photographs and video may be taken at the event and used by The British Horse Society in printed, online or electronic publications, which may be shared publicly. It is accepted that by reading and accepting these terms and conditions you give permission by default to your image being used for these purposes.
